You aren't wrong in stating that everyone wants the same thing regardless of political affiliation. There is a significant percentage of the population that prioritizes freedom from government over healthcare for all. There is no question that some would prefer to pay higher premiums if they had to while insurers fill their pockets, than to have the government tell them how they have to buy insurance and dictate where their money goes.
There is no question people have fundamentally different attitudes about what's best for them and for the country, so no, we don't all want the same things. I prefer the government completely take over healthcare without any insurer involvement. I understand the repercussions that would have, but fundamentally I believe health care is a public welfare issue that should not involve for profit schemes. A lot of people like me want (and give priority to) healthcare for all, no matter if costs are high, while a lot of people would prefer to work through an insurer (no government) and not have to pay for others to have similar access. That's a big difference in what we want.
That's it? THAT'S the degree to which you crybabies have brought up the evil Koch brothers in this discussion? As I said, that's pretty limited compared to past situations when they were the go-to scapegoat.

Here's a quick hint for you: The subject of this thread is "Official LRC President Donald J Trump Inauguration Thread"
I added the underline just in case you might have difficulties figuring it out.
Best of luck!

New lows for trump approval: 42.4 per RCP average.
That Rasmussen poll you trumpers were singling out? It's down to 44% approval. Still care to underline and support that poll?
I suspect even you people will join the disapprovers at some point.

ROFL!!!!
Republican House members for the last seven years: "Obamacare is horrible! It must be repealed!!!!"
...they subsequently vote 50+ times to repeal it--wasting everyone's time and taxpayer money. Then they're in control of the entire Governemnt and what happens?
Paul Ryan: "it's our time boys LETS DO THIS! What's our replacement plan again?"
The very same House republicans: "oh, I don't know....but Obamacare is bad!!!!!"
Republicans are simple minded yokels that are incapable of dealing with complex issues related to governing. If an entire plan--including all the necessary details--can not be distilled down into a bummer sticker slogan or 140 characters it's beyond their mental capacity. What a joke!

Guys- all of you- I just watched Van Jones on CNN say that "confidence in the Administration... and politicians in general... is fading, and that's a bad thing blah blah blah."
So here's the observation/question:
Does he and talking heads (and currently a lot of the Liberals) not realize that is the very reason Trump won? He didn't win because the US population thought politicians are doing a wonderful job. He won because the voters think both sides are slimy scumbags. The voters said no to the most establishment candidate in the history of establishment candidates.
So.... is he just being disingenuous here, or does he and the other talking heads really not realize this?
I get that. However, Trump was not even close to being the answer to that problem. In fact, he's unfortunately just going to demonstrate that an outsider is a bad idea amd we'll be back to the same $hit as before. So whoever voted for him thinking he's the man that could break up the political disaster is sadly mistaken. Not to mention all the signs and precedent were there that he is a clown who knows nothing about how to actually operate a business, let alone govern. He has always only been the "chairman" of his enterprise, depending on people who actually have competence. It easy to find talent. But has he actually run operations? Heck no.

If the Health Care bill doesn't pass, it's much more of a loss for Ryan than Trump. Ryan's been railing against Obamacare since 2008, and then had to campaign against it again as a VP candidate in 2012, and then became Speaker with one of his main goals being to repeal and replace Obamacare.
He's much more invested in it and ideologically alaigned against it than Trump. Trump probably couldn't care less (sadly).
The thing is, no wanted Ryan's job before, and they certainly don't want it now. Ryan was doomed the day Trump beat Hillary. He's not going anywhere though. If things start to heat up, Trump will point the finger at Ryan/GOP and vice versa. These are career politicians and at some point they will have to grow a spine, band together, and fight for their survival. Trump may not be here in 4 years, but he definitely wont be here in 8 years, but the parties will.
and the trump org is a mom and pop business - there are no real operations...it's transactional. One after the next. It's not a complicated company with managers. It's the family. That's why he has put his family in white house jobs - it's the only way he knows how to do anything.

and this:
https://twitter.com/davidfrum/status/845314898276106240Why haven't any of you on the Left brought up the Koch brothers' warning to those Republicans that vote for the health care bill? Remember, before Trump, they were your "evil" scapegoats. But now that they're against Trump passing a bill, you're silent on them?
Those are old tactics, nothing to see there
While they may represent the root of all evil for Democrats in the past, the biggest risk was always that the GOP gained more power. Right now we are dealing with something much bigger. It's like the official fall of the Roman Empire. At best, he'll be impeached, America will continue to be a laughing stock and we'll go back to worrying about the evil Koch brothers. This guy however, could actually trigger WWIII.

Even worse. I read somewhere that it probably won't be built anyway. With lower oil prices it's not cost effective any more.
