KB must have not gone all the way down or got back up as he's cruising in the second row.
With so many Ethiopians willing to race there, I don't know why KB has Kenyan pacemakers who I think won't care as much if he takes the record off of a Kenyan runner.
7 secs under WR at 3km

The annnouncers are already bothering me. The WR is 255 flat the whole way. I don't care what someone else ran. That's what you need to average,
For those who can't see... the video is showing a Km by Km comparison of actual leader's time vs "WR" pace... but it must be Kimetto's actual splits from Berlin. Very odd. Why not compare to avg required splits? (especially if not even the same course?)
They're not screwing around. 8:40 thru 3k which is 2:01:54 pace.
It's 70 out with 70â„… humidity
The best place for splits is here:

1 km 2 :56 2:56 2:03:46
2 km 5:48 2:52 2:02:22
3 km 8:40 2:52 2:01:54

I live in Houston where the humidity is often upper 90s. Are these conditions bad?

Hi, TAA!!!
You're the man! Thanks for the youtube!
4k in 11:32, holding 2:52/k
Looks like guys are already falling off the back
Those splits are hokey. The differential is NOT cumulative.
Too fast for the first 5k. This will be a blood bath.
I'm watching the free stream. They are rolllllling
