My first reaction was, great you have an option to pay to see a race you may not otherwise have had any chance to see.
Now I see that they were advertising free coverage before the rights were purchased.
Still, it's a free market solution.
I wasn't likely going to watch it even if it was free.
But I surely wouldn't whip out a credit card and sign up to pay to see it.
I love track but I wouldn't pay for a subscription to see a number of events.
I don't need another monthly bill and there are too many things to watch within my grasp right now.
The NFL conference championships are being broadcas for free this weekend.
I'll deal with the commercials.
This pay per view or subscription model to view running is not going to work in today's economy.
I'm a a big fan of running and you will lose me and people like me.
And I don't know how you would build a fan base this way.
