Bekele, will do what has never done before, running a marathon on pure hate, breaking the world record, and thanking Donald Trump for making America Great Again. Yes, expect Great Things.

That is like saying Rhode Island is in Massachusetts.
Makes sense.

No it's not the ideal 46 degrees......but it shouldn't be a deal-breaker either for the WR.
Where are you guys getting these ideal temperatures from??

Do you have any notion of what it takes to set a world record? This is not a video game. There will be no world record. The temperature precludes it.
While the article is a bit dated--2011--it give approx. 49 degrees as the "ideal" temp. for elite marathon performances based on info from the IAAF.

Perhaps I'm getting myself a little too worked-up about this WR attempt, but I REALLY want Bekele to get it. Maybe it's just because I love him so much; maybe it's because I'm so annoyed with Farah's (lack of) attempts to go after ANY WRs (or even fast times...I get not trying to get 26:17, but why not try to at least get 26:30?); or maybe it's because it's the unprecedented-ness of the feat (according to this site's front page, no one in history has had the 5,000; 10,000; and marathon WRs at the same time), but I will definitely be disappointed if KB CAN'T break the WR, in a way I haven't been for any marathon WR attempts in the past.
....
He ran 2:03:05 at Berlin, so we know he CAN, it is only a question of whether he DOES.

Isn't this attack, being as it ignores the argument and data presented, pretty much just a juvenile ad hominem attack?
Dude you are fvcking insane why do you always post this shït

Really??? That is cute.
Update LetsRunMath.com:
the correct answer is 2:03:03.
Ha ha ha
What a joke.
Now let's check on wejo on his LetsRunMath.com from his article on the front page of LetsRun.com:
wejo says:
Just how good will she be? Time will soon tell.
America’s fastest half-marthoners according to All-Athletics.com
1) Kara Goucher 1:06:47 (aided course, best on non-aided is 1:08:05)
2) Deena Kastor 1:07:34
3) Molly Huddle 1:07:41
4) Shalane Flanagan 1:07:51
5) Jordan Hasay 1:08:40
Actual best time for Kara Goucher:
41 66:57a Kara Goucher USA 09.07.78 1 Newcastle-South Shields 30.09.2007
Ha ha ha
LetsRun.com does it again!!!
In conclusion:
1) LetsRun.com is still completely hopeless in 2017.
This is not a big surprise.

Your amygdala is still stuck in your descending colon.
You should try to move your head in a circle while you jump up and down at the same time to see if you can wiggle it loose.
Did it wiggle loose???
Answer:
No.
It is still stuck.

Very succinctly put.
Seems poor old rjm has completely lost it.
He's starting to remind me of the 'A Duck' days.
Do you want to see a really crazy stupid human?
Two excellent examples are:
1) Yannis Pitsiladis
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/15/sports/two-hour-marathon-yannis-pitsiladis.html?_r=0
2) Yannis Pitsiladis
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/16/sports/two-hour-marathon-kenenisa-bekele.html
Yanni just did a New Year's Eve Concert at the Acropolis in Greece with the Greek poet-writer-actress-producer-director-Olympian-Goddessâ„¢ Alexi Pappas called:
"A Night with Alexi and Yanni"
I think Haile is a GOAT in his own right as is Kenenisa Bekele. Haile beats Kenenisa by far in the number of world records set in their career. Haile did it 27+ times, I believe more than any other athlete ever. Zatopek too has a right to that title since no one has managed to do what he did.
You two are simply projecting your lack of knowledge. Of course there is testing at one of the biggest elite marathons in the world. Any record set needs to be ratified with testing and course measuring. You lot are just stupid, getting angry over things you have invented in your head.
_____________________________________________________________________
What 'testing', publish it now!!!!!! Show us When, Where and Who did it.
Bull$hit! I'm not talking about the 'few' tests he's probably been given in the last six months - I'm talking about video evidence right before the race and right after! It's been 13 years since he set his 5k world record at 12:37, So now you're telling me he's going to drop a minus 2:02:00 something? Give me a frick'in break! He's either been on drugs in the past or is 'microdosing' as we speak. Cross the line - step into the port-a-port, piss into the cup and then hand it to the official! Test it right then and there and see what we got. If he's clean, then I'll lick his nuts for month, otherwise, no test right before and after the race - F'Off!
With all the recent 'fails' by top performers how can you call this "stupid"??? He's can't simply hide behind his name and make everyone think, "O' well, it's just KB, he's capable you know".
Everyone and their brothers uncle thought Lance was innocent for years - F-tarded lying sack of Crap!
Surprised it took this long to mention dew point, which is forecasted to be 59. Not as bad as Houston (64-65), but not quite ideal conditions.

this is correct, except the current weather forecast shows it will be 68 degrees at 6:00 am. It's very unlikely we'll see a WR in such conditions. I predict a winning time of 2:05:xx.
Nice. Good luck, Kenny!!!

+1
Probably even a DNF if Bekele goes out aggressively in the first half.
