Wardian is killing it!
Wardian is killing it!
LR said Hall is a prolific weight lifter now...What exactly does it take to be prolific? He is still a skinny distance runner smaller than McMullen was and smaller than most HS athletes.
how do i check the daily results?? the webpage doesn't have 2017.
Above is the facebook for updates. Embedly sucks sometimes.
Hall is doing a shirtless mirror selfie on each continent as well, so he will be the multi-event champion.

Wow...2:37 is incredible. Average after 3 days is 2:46ish as I predicted but it seems he will speed up and maybe get the average down a couple minutes

I know people who lift all the time who barely even look like they lift. Nature of the beast. Muscle mass is especially hard to come by after your first year. If you're too concerned with taking selfies and keeping your body fat low you won't gain jack.

Wardian looks up to the challenge to say the least. Running 2:37 on a hot morning in Miami has got to be tough on the third day, not to mention he runs in beefy Hokas. Unless Wardian really breaks down in the final days, hard to see him losing this.
What were the Antarctic temps? Some kind of record for biggest range of temps for marathons in three days? Dude is beastly.
Those beefy hokas are only 7 or 8 oz. The cushioning would be a huge advantage for this type of stage race.

What kind of math is that....if he's talking C that's -4F...
This kind of math. He says 20 below freezing. Freezing is 32 F. 32-20 = 12 F. Pretty simple math, no?

Obviously it's Celsius....-4 is correct. Nobody says 20 below freezing in Fareinheight.

Methinks Mr. Hall starting to hoit.
Hall hitting the Wall.
...Or is the Wall hitting Hall?!

I'd think Wardian would be able to average about 2:40 or so for this sort of thing.
Of course the travel would be pretty intense, so maybe that would slow him down.
Looks like he is going to be a little short of this (unless he really, really picks up the pace on the last 3), but overall not too bad of a prediction.
I really didn't think or factor in a slowdown on Antartica. or travel. I was really just thinking of being able to run a marathon a day for 7 weeks.
It's a niche talent, but he really has amazing ability to recover quickly.
