And who do you want at the end of a close game? Prescott or Rodgers?

Why? Green Bay is a small market. Dallas is "America's team." Why would they want Green Bay over Dallas? Silly.
Field Goal is GOOOOOOOODDD!!!!!
ought oh! You Cowboy fans must be shltting a brick right now!
Cowboys going back to the ranch.
Oh NOOOOO@!!!! Bye Bye Boys!!!
Dallas has how many thugs? Zeke Ellliot, Randy Gregory, Dez Bryant, Nate Newton, Michael Irvin, Joseph Randle, etc., etc. - How many thugs can one team have? All are blacks - like a suprise - lol.
I love when people over-react
Prescott had an amazing rookie year.
Prescott and Elliott both had excellent games and great seasons. Prescott threw for 302 yards and had a rating over 100, while Elliott rushed for 125 yards on 22 carries (5.7 ypc) and no fumbles (neither team had a fumble!).
Dallas should obviously draft a bunch of defensive players this year and then they might well have the makings of a juggernaut. Whoever did the drafting instead of Jerry Jones last year needs to do it again, clearly!
According to this detailed SI story about the Cowboys' 2016 draft, where the people involved in the decision are Jerry Jones, his son, and two other Joneses, plus Jason Garrett, they got Elliott at #4 because they didn't offer enough to trade down to #6 to get him there and they favored him because all thought Elliott had more of a chance to be an impact player than another they liked, but they then set their minds on a quarterback in the first round, wanting Paxton Lynch but missing out to Denver's better offer. (Lynch had a couple starts and threw 59% with a rating of 79.2, not a bad first year for a rookie qb but certainly no Prescott at this point). They waited all the way to pick 101 for Dak Prescott. They actually wanted Connor Cook but when Cleveland traded pick 100 to the Raiders, Cook went there, and Dallas ended up with Prescott. They were disappointed but realized that he had the characteristics that Roger Staubach had recently mentioned are key in a qb. So, in other words, this year's luck is not likely to be repeated next year. They got Prescott by luck, not design.
"One last story. On day three, Dallas sat at pick 101, the third pick in the fourth round. Cleveland owned picks 99 and 100. The Cowboys favored Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook marginally over Prescott. Cleveland wasn’t going to take a quarterback, having just taken USC passer Cody Kessler near the end of round three. So the Cowboys offered Cleveland next year’s sixth-round pick to move up from 101 to 100. The Browns said no. Then the Cowboys offered this year’s sixth-round pick. The Browns said no. Cleveland took picks 114 and 154 from Oakland, and the Raiders jumped Dallas and picked Cook."
So when New England drafted Tom Brady in the 5th or 6th round that was by design? The majority of anything good happening in the NFL (or life) is luck.
