Both wins
IS ANYONE AT THE MEET?
I'm spoiled I guess, but surprised there isn't any play by play happening on the message board
have a good day, ya filthy animals!
I wish they showed that from a bit earlier on that clip. I think the kid in the red tights was running out of control trying to force his way through on the inside.
Austin Tomango being called Tomagno...
Tomango runs 1:54.84 to take Section 2.
Heat 3 supposedly 50 flat through 400..not buying that. Anyways...1:50.94 vs 1:50.98 Kemboi edges Stanovsek. Fun race to watch.

No that white boy in blue had forced the inside runner to step into the infield. There is not enough room for two runner in the inside half of lane one. Bullying in this is owned by the blue uniform runner, who also managed to pushed the other blue uniform runner down by stabbing him in the back.

The blue uni guy intentionally bumped the red uni guy trying to force him off the track and got shoved back. Looks like the red uni guy was ahead.

Could be that guy. I was watching it live and I thought both blue and red looked out of control. If I cared enough, I would rewatch it once the meet ends. Waiting for these 200s to end or get to the point...might be time for some bourbon.

The twitter mini-vid caught it. Watch the blue uni guy shift inward on the track when his head pivots inside. The gap closed to having two guys occupying the same space. The guy on the inside had enough control to push back when pushed and maintain his running line. The guy who started it all tumbled easily when pushed and seemed to be the one the most out of control.
Jenkins ran 2:23, which is 3:51.6 mile pace, and 3:58 mile in under an hour between them. If he could run 3:49 at 5th Ave., he might well be capable of running 3:50 indoors like Rupp did. Hence, I'm thinking that Salazar might want him to be able to run pretty close to 4:00 mile pace for 3000m, that is, to take a shot at Rupp's American record of 7:30.16. I'm not saying he'll do it this year, but usually Salazar has a purpose for these kinds of races that is closely linked to working on something a bit faster than race pace at the next higher distance.
Efraimson ran 4:38, in third or fourth.
spicy double for Eric Jenkins and the "return" of Edward Kemboi after being a non-factor last year.
Centro is going to run 7:34 if Jenkin's form is any sign.
