$18 billion. who cares, not much on the grand scale of CA economyunless all of the facilities are built well and continue to be used after the games, it's a total waste. i've toured a lot of olympic sites, many less than a year after the games, and they are cheap and unused. it's sad. I went to athens a few months after the olympics and they were locked down....crumbling, dirty..unused and not open to publicthe olympics should be held in only 3-4 cities and rotated every few years. Many countries can contribute to infrastructure and many can receive proceeds. nfl stadiums...used less than 20 times a year...billion dollars costthat's silly
