Then it is Trump who must save us. The last thing we need is an expansion in a field that should be drastically reduced/dissolved. Next thing you know doctors will be diagnosing baby's with depression right out of the womb. That field does MUCH more harm than good. Of course the quacks don't see this and continue throwing around diagnoses so they can pat themselves on the back.
Let me reign in the joking ness and say, the reality of this issue is like a barbell, as with so many things in life. Mental health services have two poles. There is a legitimate pole where it helps truly crazy people and disenfranchised, drug abusing, petty crime committing, bad influences low income chaps, etc. Then there is a bullsh!t pole abused by feminazis, politically correct idiots, those in power, corrupted institutions, etc to slander and destroy people they don't like. Enemies and potential enemies. people mix the two poles up. There is almost no accountability for the system and that is dangerous when innocent people are basically persecuted.
But carry on. Back to the joking seriousness, the field has lots of money involved. Some of that is blood money and if blood money, like diamonds, doesn't offend you, get on down. Jump on in. The ratio of salaries and investment yields compared to the volume of effort and tediousness is very favorable, especially contrasted to many traditional industries and professions.
