At 25, he couldn't make the Olympic final. At 33, he is mid pack in a xc race with other elites- about par and what should be expected. 3:28 for 1500m and 4 Oly golds in the interim is not.
LOL. So much stooped in this post.
Why do you Yanks not watch this on a US Channel?
Self-flagellation?
Anyone know where results are posted?

WHAT A FINISH. It's official. We should get rid of the 10k on the track and run an xc course liek that with a hill near the finish. Makes it so much more interesting.
Hawkins had almost broken him - probably led by at least 10 meters - Chelimo came back got ahead, hawkins rallied retook the lead but Chelimo won.
THIS
10k on the track sucks, they should bring back XC, do a team race at the end of track and field week at the OGs. No individual medals, just a team race.
All you clowns mouthing off about MO is hilarious. You couldn't carry his shoes for day, let alone his 4 gold medals. I'm not a fanbot of MO, but jesus, are you all like 14??
I'm always hoping for strong performances from Americans, whoever they are. Yall just need to grow up.

Amazing race.
I agree, rojo. Get rid of the track 5k and 10k, and run an 8k XC on a real course. Half of the 10k guys should be in the marathon and the others should race this new Olympic XC race. Same for the more distance-based 5k guys.
Mo takes dope; get off your knees and stop licking the balls of a doper.

Top 8 Men:
1 Leonard Korir USA 24:03
2 Callum Hawkins GBR 24:04
3 Aras Kaya EUR 24:21
4 Sam Chelanga USA 24:23
5 Stanley Kebenei USA 24:36
6 Garrett Heath USA 24:43
7 Mo Farah GBR 24:49
8 Soufiane Bouchikhi EUR 24:56
Men Team Scores:
1 USA 149
2 EUR 152
3 GBR 208
Great run from Callum Hawkins and as I predicted he crushed Heath and Farah ;-) I guess he will be disappointed but Korir has a good pedigree at 5/10k.

I think you can buy them from USATF/Flopro
Here's a thought - maybe Mo just sucks at XC.
Here's another thought - maybe Americans just rock in XC.
Mo has never done well in this race, he has a history.
Hawkins = Paula Radcliffe... the great white hope that chokes in the end.
Here's yet another problem with these Ken-mericans. When Heath won in the past, it was exciting, front page (on LRC) news that you get behind. It momentarily opened the imaginations of our young runners to possibilities. "Hey, he's like me - maybe someday...". Three Kenyans running for the US in the top 5 - no one is going to give a f or remember it.
Junior boys top 10?!...Anyone?

The USATF+ stream was the BBC broadcast with the BBC announcers. We had no other options.
