He could be a mediocre long sprinter more than anything else. My best events are 400 -800 , but I still suck. Not saying he isn't going to improve , but he can be a long sprinter,

I know how to "properly" train, it's just so god damn boring. They have you doing Easy and Long Runs most the time, then they make you do a day of tempo, and one interval session. I just like doing 3 days of intervals, 1 day long run, another interval tempo and do weights or a quick 400-mile time trial. That is my weekly schedule and for some reason I improve much faster this way. I mean after I quit the "standard" training I already dropped 5 seconds off my 400.
Continue like this, kid. Junk miles are overrated. Interval training and hard, long runs is the way to go. (Look at Hicham El Guerrouj training.)
Besides, you are right: easy runs are so damn boring. I can't understand how people do them.
Willy, he might be slow, but he could still be a 400/800. He's just untrained and undeveloped
you're getting in better shape.
400 is way more aerobic than the clowns on this board care to acknowledge.
hey man, upload some videos! I want to know how you're doing! no pressure but just a quick update would be cool.
Boppin his bologna could probably result in significant dehydration. Although not good for ones overall health, it could drop his 400m time. Every oz of... fluid... is like worth 1.4 seconds.
