Yesterday I went to a trampoline park and may have injured myself:
I bounced off of an angled trampoline on the wall (approx. 45 degrees) and landed on another trampoline with my knee bent under me. Right afterwards I had pain at the back and side of my knee and trouble walking/ straightening my knee out. I limped around for about 15 minutes and the pain went away. I then proceeded to spend about 2 hours jumping from trampoline to trampoline, flipping and dunking off of trampolines with no problem.
After the 1hr drive back to my house, however, my pain had returned. I took an ibuprofen and went to sleep. In the moring it was worse than ever and it has only gotten slightly better throughout the whole day. My fear is that I may have strained a ligament in knee (LCL or PCL). I don't have trouble putting weight on the leg, but bending it too far or really straightening it cause pain. The joint is not loose. Ice and Ibuprofen have done little to help it as far as I can tell.
I need to be running again soon bc we're getting into indoor track. What's going on? How do I treat it? Are there stretches or anything else I can do?
