I am not a fan.
Most definitely NOT A FAN.
Promoting drinking with sport is idiotic at the best of times.
What's next swimming and everyone downs a jello shot every 100m?

agreed with everyone else. Its gone too far. It was fun 15 years ago, when there were no rules. It was just a bunch of morons, meeting up, pounding 4 of whatever beers they wanted out of whatever container they wanted and running, and then likely puking.
its too serious now.
It is juvenile. I can see a bunch of high school boys thinking it is SO crazy!!! The fact that adults still think that way is, well, sad.

No puking allowed. For real men only.
Child's play.
100 miles and 100 beers in 100 hours.
You forgot the hotdogs. The 100x100x100 just got more interesting by adding 100 delicious frankfurters.
I just threw up in my mouth.
Just eyeballing the replies, more seem to disfavor the beer mile than favor it and an even (much) greater proportion dislike the idea of it when sponsored by Flotrack. Thanks to all that weighed in.
I participate in a yearly beer mile race with some of my HS XC buddies. Been doing it for a few years now. It's a silly way to have fun, but it's also great to have everyone get together every year.
This is going to sound hipster-ish, but this whole FlowTrack business is just lame, and killing my excitement for our yearly gatherings.
No...
This kinda goes against everything we stand for as runners right? I hate seeing this crap be called a "sport." Seems like it's just full of washed up sub-elites that have a resorted to something they are considered "elite" at... I will also say FloTrack is run by idiots and their commentary and coverage is absolute garbage.

NO!
Not a fan, brings disgrace a step closer to the sport I love.
Yes. Harmless Fun
How about a crispy rice mile?
Not a fan. Was funny until it got serious.
