You must have been a hall monitor in elementary school. Nerd.
Nay. It's boring. Flotrack's emphasis on it is silly and cheapens the sport.
It seemed pretty cool and funny at first
Then Flotrack happened...
They've turned it into its own sport. There's a world championship. Brooks released a Beer Mile shoe
No, this is too far
Better than Color Runs.
Worse than Krispy Kreme 5ks.
Not a fan.
I appreciate your input. Thx. I'll count you as a fan, then.
I will cancel subscription to FloTrack before it renews. I don't get the interest in the beer mile, frankly. I enjoyed the Wednesday Workout series and the documentaries, though there have been far less of the latter lately. And...the coverage of the XC D1 championship races was awful.
The beer mile is repulsive, stupid, and juvenile and not the clever fun it's alleged to be. The novelty has already worn off. Reporting this stuff is stultifying.
I also consider you a dork for paying for flo-track.

Your consideration of me is important feedback. Thx.
Donut mile would be more fun. Not a fan of mixing alcohol and running. Next they will bring guns into the sport and that won't end very well.

Agreed. I will be cancelling my flotrack pro account as well. I have no interest in helping to fund events like that.
As a silly thing to do with some friends, the beer mile is fine. As a spectator event, not so much.
Beer mile is not a sport
Honestly what's not to like? It's entertaining.
Seems like everyone's butthurt because guys like Bellemore are running faster than their actual mile times.
That might be true if we had any idea who Bellemore was or what his time was. We're not interested enough to even find out.
All of these things like the Beer Mile and the absolutely ludicrous two-hour marathon projects just suggest that the sport is not interesting enough in and of itself to care about. I have never found that to be the case.
