So if the rumor of Drake is open and Auburn is open. My guess is Mark Carroll to Drake? He has interviewed in the Midwest a lot over the past few years.

Why would Mark carroll go from auburn (SEC) to Drake (Missouri Valley Conf)?

To be a head coach.
West Texas A&M Head XC/Assistant T&F Coach
Sad day for ASU if Light is leaving.
Exactly, run his own program. When you are the boss who cares if it is SEC or MVC. That is like saying no other job matters. It is no wonder why some coaches on here don't have jobs. Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell, Jearl Miles Clark, Batman Jackson, Tori Bowie, Quanera Hayes (400 champ) did not go to SEC schools and they turned out just fine.

so then where has Pat Wale-Dinan jumped to this time. Florida, LSU, UCLA, USC, Auburn, Drake????
Assistant position open at Richmond; "sprints, hurdles, jumps".

He got canned.

He left because he didn't like the culture of the program.
He jumped to head line cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Many coaching changes at Auburn lately but the problems are still still there. No wonder so many quality assistants are refusing this gig. Last turn around was hilarious.
I' d say this is a few months gig for someone inbetween jobs

are we going through word of mouth or can anybody confirm this with 100% certainty?
If i had to guess, Saretsky and PWD would meet the same fate. Meaning either they both keep their jobs or they both lose them. Any word on Saretsky too?

Wales-Dinan is not good enough to coach any of those schools mentioned. Drake would be the only school PWD would have a chance to be hired. And that would be a stretch. PWD left Long Beach State in a cloud of controversy. And now he leaves Harvard in a bigger cloud of controversy. The guy just can't get over the fact that he is tiny. I feel bad for the guy.
What was the controversy at Long Beach State? What does being tiny have anything to do with it? Seems to me it's his interactions with his women that keep getting him into trouble...

I just keep hearing rumors on here. Anyone have any info on official announcements or when they'll be made?
Hadn't heard that Wales-Dinan left Long Beach in a cloud of controversy? Only heard about Williams. Seems Harvard needs to do a little research before hiring their coaches. Based on this excerpt from the "Team Divided" article, they don't really care.
"...For some, the concerns about Wales-Dinan started before he even arrived in the Athletics Department. Two athletes in the program describe a team meeting they attended at Wales-Dinan’s house in the fall. According to those athletes, Wales-Dinan told the team that one of his former athletes had emailed Jason S. Saretsky, the head coach of track and cross country, detailing concerns about him. Wales-Dinan said that Saretsky had chosen to disregard the email..."
Would love to see this email now...
Hey Rumors. Jump on over to the Harvard Woes thread and go alllll the way to the end. Someone posted an email sent out by the head coach yesterday confirming that Wales-Dinan is "stepping down" and that Harvard will be conducting a national search.
