Jus a shot in the dark, but they will probably hire the best candidate: alum, volunteer, outside applicant, etc.
best applicant does not always equal hire
I GOT OFFERED TWENTY JOBS AND TURNED THEM DOWN...

Lake Erie head job opening up as the most recent coach goes to Wayne state
What a terrible hire for Wayne State.
Funny you say that... word out of Corvallis is the AD so doesn't care about track is he is letting compliance AD who kisses Dumble's pie-hole make The hire & to drive home the point had crappy token woman head, black naia head & a couple others w/o enough experience. Dumble plans on retaining assistant sprints, hurdles & jumps coach who was co-focus of team mutiny in March led by All-American Kara Hallock who confronted AD & shared so the internal issues. Dumble dumb to not go & hire new assistant but is said he doesn't want HC but wants to coach & doesn't risk a true outside hire comes in & let's him go.
No plan to add men & that plus staying status quo means program remains an also ran
dave is not dumb and will put money in events outside of throws. but he will make the throws program lethal

What were the internal issues that they complained about? Was Kelly fired then (asked to resign), or did he get fed up and leave?
Kelly was a bad coach why wouldnt they complain?

You seriously sound like such a pathetic bumbling fool. I mean just step back and listen to yourself talk for a minute. You managed to spew garbage all over people whom you've likely never met before. GTFO of our profession- you clearly don't belong in here.
So it appears that barring anything unusual happening out of Texas, Mario will retain his job, and those domino moves won't happen. That said, his contract at Texas is allegedly up after next season, so he could be on a short leash?

Can't substantiate it but word is that if indeed Mario is out, then it will cause a domino effect, with Floreal going to Texas & Robert Johnson of Oregon going to Kentucky...personally, I'll believe it when I see it...
It hasn't been posted yet, but Adams State will be looking for a Sprints/Jumps Coach.
When are some of these director and distance assistant jobs (Florida, LSU, Oregon State, American, USC, UCLA, etc.) gonna be filled? People who leave for those jobs are gonna have to have their old jobs posted and we're getting pretty late into the summer with no hires yet..

And if we haven't heard of some other big rumored firings by the end of this week, it's going to be a quieter summer than it appeared to be shaping up to be. Especially if the rumors of Oregon State & UCLA hiring internally or nobodies (doesn't mean they're bad coaches/hires, just means they won't start big dominoes) prove true.

Curious if they could even get a single decent coach to look at it.
There are a lot of "bad jobs" out there that always get filled. IS this not the type of job that some need to get their foot in the door? You might not be able to build SeattleU to be top in the WAC, but couldn't you build it up enough to seek further promotion? Does that not hold any merit in moving on?
Sure looked like Coach Lofdahl did a nice job at Lake Erie. Not sure what would prompt you to say that.

What about and drake and new mexico state? Have those head jobs even budged?
Anyone hear anything about the Nicholls state job?
NMSU has had preliminary interviews and selected finalists. No clue on Drake.
