What is the openning at purdue?
What is the openning at purdue?
Thank you, Miketodd. I'm concerned about the recruiting this season. Only one girl in field events and a distance runner. Baylor has recruited better than Texas in the sprint area once again.
wheres the backup that Shaver is actually going to Illinois. 3 coaches sounds absurd
just curious for creds wrote:

Someone on another thread said Vig to Florida?? Hard to believe he's looking to move again, but could be huge for the UF distance program.
Nope. Think husband/wife team.

Well its only 1 position, so is one of these individuals just going to get out of the biz?
My resume and cover letter is primed and ready with my countless All Americans.
CSU Northridge distance opening

This doesn't make sense. What couple in the Ivy League is leaving for University of Florida?

I've heard David Freeman of USC to Florida, was a Vol. Asst there for a few years
only husband wife duo's that could get this job are in RIchmond, VA , Eugene, OR and Furman, SC.
Should be more juicy info and positions open after this weekend
I doubt that. He's primarily worked with 800m runners. And Mouse coaches 800m at UF.

Florida has a volunteer assistant that works with the 800m runners, I assume Holloway writes the workouts.

Freeman has been on the chopping block at USC for the last year. He needed to produce big time this year for the Trojans and he didn't. His name has been talked about for a couple of SEC jobs.

Then he will work out well at LSU then, since neither LSU or USC put much money into their distance group.
Doesn't make since for vig to go to UF.
Princeton- unlimited scholarships and attract power 5 talent, UF- limited scholarships for men's distance
Princeton- coaching just one sex, Florida twice the work coaching men and women and no paid assistant
Florida- what are you done lately environment, produce or you're shown the door.
Plus vig is from the NE
Heck, why would any established coach want to take the distance job there?
If you read the interim position post fully it shows that its for a position that is to end June 30, 2017 and non-competitive. Meaning Dumble has job til new coach hired but we have to do this to follow the law.
