UT - Rio Grande Valley head coach
UT - Rio Grande Valley head coach
I doubt they canned Ruff at WSU. He just bought a house in the area. Probably just found a better job.
Hawaii? Last at Big West by a long shot and I think they are fully funded. Can anyone verify that?
Khadevis OUT at LSU. Word down on the bayou is they are looking to bring back former asst/current Hartford coach Roger Cooke. Solid hire if true.
Why would they get rid of KD? He has done very well there. If that is the case then he will end up at Florida.
They should hire Boo as the head coach

You serious, Clark? KD managed to do even worse than the previous coach, which is quite remarkable. How many teams did LSU beat at the SEC cross meet on the men's and women's sides during KD's four years? It's not like the SEC is a strong cross conference, either. He has numerous 4:20/9:20ish or better type guys on the roster and managed only two under 15 for 5k this spring. Someone's dad could volunteer, use only the Daniels Running formula, and produce better results the majority of the time.

Cooke is currently listed as the interim head coach at Hartford. What Happened to Richard Warren?
Coach Ruff was fired at Wayne State due to consistent athlete complaints.

Apparently Alleyne Francique is on the hot seat for some impropriety with an athlete.
Hot seat? If his position opens then that would make two positions at Texas A&M

BS. Three guys under 15. No one gives a crap about XC in Red Stick.
Can anybody in the know give an idea as to when or of Wayne State intends to bring in men's track any time soon? Also, do they have a track on campus? If not, where do they go?

Wayne State track job is open. Wonder why Rondell Ruff resigned?

Just read that Guthrie at Central Mich is moving on.

Wow, that's a shocker! Always thought he did a decent job in one of the hardest places in the country to recruit.
I know that's CRAZY! From what I've seen his athletes respected him, UTRGV is in a hard location to recruit, and they seem to only pull a lot of Hispanic athletes to the team because of the school's atmosphere. Seems like a good guy, hope he bounces back somewhere else.
True story. Coach Guthrie going back to UWL to take an administrative position and to be closer to family. Great move for him.

This isn't true at all.

Which part is false?
The rumor of KD being out at LSU is confirmed. Seems that Shaver and KD weren't on the same page, along with a few kids wanting to transfer.
With that opening, and the Florida distance job opening...seems like one of these two would be a tremendous middle distance opening for Ryan VanHoy of Ole Miss. Heard people saw Mouse talking to VanHoy on the backstretch at the SEC Meet this weekend. All Florida needs are some middle distance/distance points and they win NCAA's.
Florida distance opening? Are they actually getting rid of Paul?

They've already won 6 national championships without distance points, why do they need to start getting them now?
