Don't they already have a throws/vault coach?
Hiring a jumps/multis coach. Coach Grimes resigned middle of the season.
St. Cloud posting is a formality, they will not be hiring a new coach.
Any word on what Fayetteville is doing? Interviewing?

Sevin is an Aggie alum. Interesting
Sevin better take the A&M job.
Mario is out.
Edrick Floreal will be the next head coach in Austin.
You mean the same Mario who was just named Head Coach for US in WC? n Doesn't make much sense. Floreal is doing well in Kentucky.
USATF and the University of Texas are different orgs. Different decision makers. USATF appointments are made by committee and the positions are volunteer based, not necessarily merit based. Being named Head Coach doesn't mean you are the best coach out there, it means you have the belief of the USATF staff (generally this means prestige) and you volunteeered. Arguably, the best coaches are working with their individual elites and don't have the time to volunteer to manage the general team at these competitions.
New Mexico State U. is posted - Head XC/Track position. Formality posting or actually open?
MN State Mankato is a 9 month position for head coach? Okay, what's a job like that pay when only 9 months?
Nmsu as been open sjnce the 24th of april and they havent posted on a mjaor site. Must be accounted for already.
Is this Carmichael's new gig?
No shot floreal is leaving with the recruiting class they have coming in.
Would assume it is his to lose.
Don't know anything about whether Texas is hiring a new coach, but the Texas head coach position pays almost twice as much as the head coach position at Kentucky. So regardless of what the recruiting class looks like, anyone at Kentucky would be interested if Texas came calling.

Head coach at U.K. makes a lot more than that...it wouldn't be money that gets him to leave:
Well I guess Arizona's throws coach is going to open up.

Well, I guess if you read the article closely, you would see that this story was from 2015.
Compare this: I, as a coach, spend 4-5 years and up to 20 hours per week for half of those years, with the student-athletes. After many years of coaching, I have received countless letters, cards, phone calls, etc. with appreciation for the things that myself and other coaches have instilled in the student-athlete... discipline, work ethic, team work, etc.
How many professors can honestly say the same thing? Yes, there are professors doing great research, but we all know that there are MANY professors that are 'average joe's'.
