Well not really, I think it more so let’s you know where the coaches head is at. It would seem like he didn’t want someone with coaching experience but for what reason who knows. Maybe so he can mold them into what he wants them to be, and also so the incumbent doesn’t come in with their own philosophies and strategies of coaching. If it works for him that’s great, but it’s definitely not replacing the conventional way.

Oh when someone puts on their bio that they finished in the top 5% at a major marathon, you know they’re reaching to justify themselves for the job with no experience.

Actually when it comes to where did all the sprint momentum go in the state of Texas, it's largely because Houston stepped up their game on the men's side, while Texas slid a lot and A&M took a small step back.

Texas A&M has loads of sprinters, but barely made any noise in Championship. Texas Women's team did way better than A&M this yr.

Texas A&M has loads of sprinters, but barely made any noise in Championship. Texas Women's team did way better than A&M this yr.

You seem to be neglecting their 2:59 4x400 which demolished everyone and their two 4th place 4x100s.
They aren't as strong as in the past but Texas A&M is doing just fine in sprints
