Obviously he's great if he's staying on, but the two new additions are very underwhelming
At least this shows that - yes - high school coaches can be hired on straight to P5 coaching positions with actual coaching responsibilities? She's going to be coaching the women.
The UCLA staff is looking better than I anticipated considering the budget.
Guys, they are broke. UCLA's days of being a top 20 program are long gone. It will not happen again in the next 10 years, and probably will never happen again.

UCLA is not broke. AD Dan Guererro just doesn't care about track and field. And he has made huge mistakes with the last three hires at the head coaching position. UCLA's track and field budget is 5th in the Pac-12. Not that high, but not that low. It is going to take someone special to bring UCLA track and field back to prominence. And Avery Anderson is not that person. Fact!

Doesn't Avery still have to hire a sprint/hurdle coach too?
5th in the PAC12 while trying to operate in one of the most expensive markets in the country is LIGHT YEARS away from competitive!
They are outside of the top 20 budgets nationally. There are schools who spend more on RECRUITING that UCLA can on TRAVEL. I don't care who the coach is. No one is going to be consistently successful unless they address their budget situation.
Seeing as this year's thread has been mostly about UCLA and 2nd tier programs in the WAC...
who got the sprints job at NMSU?
So the info on Brice Allen going to Drake is not so much. Anyone have any other ideas about where he is going?
Allen to ASU?? Is familiar with area after being at NAU

The thread has gone quiet. Everyone must me back at practice or moving back into their mom's basement.
I just got my ASU rejection email so announcement is coming.
Exactly... all these places have their people. Just takes some time to clear backround checks and to roll out press releases. Still fun to keep predicting who ends up where

Where does Colorado rank budget wise in the P 12?
Not throws but have seen old Graceland coach around the team a lot lately. I believe he was at NAIA Bacone recently
Any word yet on Alabama Throws?
Word on Alabama? Drug cheat coach wins.
