So the Illinois job is just operations, not a coaching position?

What are the concerns here? Seems like this is information that is needed before anyone makes any acceptance decisions.

Why do people think that jobs are discussed at these championships? Coaches are too busy coaching their athletes, ya know trying to win national titles. The ppl getting the "axe" aren't there so no ones thinking about them

St Cloud State University just opened. Does anyone have any info as to what kind of support team they have their with admin? Is the posting just a formality with an internal higher moving up? Thanks.
SUNY Oneonta near Cooperstown, NY just opened up. The coach was only in his first year. What happened there? That seems like it could be a good position where you could build a winning program with the right support.
Speaking of support, or lack thereof, what is the word on William & Mary?
SCSU dropped men's program last year. What kind of support do you think admin is giving them.
Recruiting Coordinator position at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Looks like no coaching duties though.

From the TTU website:
"Looking for adjectives to describe Tennessee Tech University men's and women's cross country and track coach Wayne Angel, four logical terms are Passionate, Visionary, Recruiter and Winner. Those are the foundation on which the former world-class 400-meter hurdler looks to make an immediate impact on the Golden Eagle programs."

Take a look at his Big Ten finishes. Find the thread where Illinois alums were praising his "resignation" there.
Recent assistants of his have complained about his ability to run a program. One has gotten out of coaching all together after their experience with him.
