Not an open college position, but an interesting one for any head coaches with 10+ years experience...and Colorado Srings is pretty nice:

What are you smoking. No director of ops in the SEC makes more than 70k. Could be one or two nationally, all in areas where cost of living is very high, who make that. Would be shocked to even have a single operations person making 70k nationally.
I know first hand that a DoOps in the Pac12 makes 100k plus.

I've had good friends who ran there (and others that tried to run there), friends that coached there, and a long list of others I know that have been shafted by UMass (generally) and/or O'B (specifically).
The history of mismanagement, mistreatment, and mistakes is legend. ADs on down the list.

How about contributing something of substance instead of just saying "Nope"?
There is nothing more substantial to contribute. No one knows anything. Been a few interviews and a number of no's but no names, no plan of attack, nothing. Whole staff was blown out and as of today, no staff to speak of. Braden headed to William and Mary leaving all significant areas of the team leaderless. So, nope is the answer to it all. Stay tuned.
Yep Barnett to Auburn from South Alabama.
Bring Back Tim Goldsack!

I don't think Benson has left U PENN. The job there "reports directly to Dolan" and consists of a lot of admin, as per the USTFCCCA posting.
Maybe their last assistant is on his way to Lafayette.
Seems like an interesting dynamic of distance coaches at Penn.
Penn has a new assistant distance coach:

Lafayette?

The number of "no way's" to Avery's offers to coach the women's distances are shocking. Should have tried harder to keep Forest...

^ Yeah.
Blame UCLA sports administration for this train wreck. They basically said, "What we need is a black head coach. We have none. You there, you will do! Now, we don't like how things have been going - we fired the Water Polo coach because he came in #2 in the country, darn it - and we take zero responsibility for lack of support or understanding of the sports we supervise. So, it must be the coaches' problem. Be sure you make a change. Fire all the coaches, because you can't fire us ha ha ha. Too bad for the athletes. They can go to the other PAC12 programs. We didn't care about them, anyway ha ha ha. Now. Hire some coaches to live and work between Beverly Hills and Bel Air with almost no salary money. THOSE COACHES BETTER BE TOP NOTCH. $50K should get you the best in the nation. Good luck with that. And win PAC12 over that half ass Oregon sports admin program, and Nationals while you're at it. Or it's the ax for you, brah. Great to have you aboard."
Did I mention the people making decisions about track and field have no track and field experience or understanding?
Note: I agree that UCLA needs to hire black head coaches. I also agree they need to hire black administrators... they have none. Four people interviewed for the director position, three black alums and an Also Ran, Hoyt. Internal candidates knew that firing the staff would mean total destruction to the team cohesiveness and difficulty recruiting top coaches to such an expensive area.
Did I mention the people making decisions about track and field have no track and field experience or understanding?
.
This is true for EVERY NCAA administration.

It's also why track teams get cut, because the admin can't manage their budget
