Rumor is that Tennessee Wesleyan is going with their sprint coach. He has coached distance in the past also.
That's a good move.

Carrie Lane getting back into collegiate coaching - great hire for wyoming throws
What grapevine? All signs seem to point to Braden being on the outs...

With a bit more support I can't see why they aren't a consistent top 15 team in cross with kids scoring points at the meet indoors and out. And even if the resources remain the same UCLA will always be a better draw than William & Mary.
from what I've heard through the grapevine is Braden is staying on to coach the men and Anderson is trying to bring in a women's distance coach. he is targeting Shayla Houlihan (CAL), Diljeet Taylor (BYU), Liz Debole (Stanford), and Helen Winters (San fran).

So is Kyle Walsh going to coach the Indiana State men's XC too? Website bios just say women's coach. Obviously it's no easy task replacing Coach McNichols but there were separate coaches last year.
Walsh took over mens and women's distance coaching following McNichols passing. He will be continuing that this year through all 3 seasons. He had countless assistants last year as well. Not to mention, Angie Martin will be the director of ops so it's not all on Walsh's shoulders.

Rumors that he is, in fact, out and on his way elsewhere. But, no one seems to be able to confirm one way or the other. Guess we just have to keep waiting..
... hear that?? Curious.

Have you heard otherwise?
... lots of speculation. Does any of it come from kids actually on the team... they'd be the best source I'd imagine.

Any news on the UMASS jobs?
Still looks like a step back talent wise and money.

Isn't there someone credible on here who can give names, or at least hints of potential hirings?? The waiting is truly agonizing..

It's all speculation on here buddy... these schools are waiting til last minute to interview and hire coaches.
Lindenwood-Belleville has 2 full time GA positions open. (1 throws and 1 flexible). NAIA school. Email coach if interested.
All speculation until it's true, buddy. Which means a lot of what's said on here actually provides a look into the hiring process and who is being considered. All rumors and potential candidates for the upcoming week are welcome here!
Agreed. Keep the rumors coming. Looking forward to hearing who is named for these jobs!

I understand what you're saying a good bit of is simply musical chairs with some coaches getting positions where they have a connection to the head coach or the program. But if anyone thinks that hires are made based on what is said on here they're crazy! ADs and head coaches could care less what is said on this forum.

No one said that and no one believes that...this is just a good place for rumors with some basis of fact.
Any news on who was offered the Charlotte position? Should be a good job for whoever replaces Gibby.
Done deal.
