CMU alum...ding ding ding, now it makes sense.
What happens to current distance coach, Matthew Kaczor?
Ran for a solid hs program, two great programs in Oregon/BYU. Was Ed's right hand man for a couple years. In one year he's proven he knows what he is doing.

They will keep all assistants for a year which means CMU will struggle for another 2-3 years. MAC should be a dual meet between Akron and EMU anyways.
That hire shows you how much CMU cares about track. CMU could be a good spot, but the administration is COMPLETELY checked out on the track & field program.
Sprints- Gray Horn (Rumor, may not be fact)
Throws- Brad Foote (Mentioned earlier in this thread)
Jumps- ... No Clue.
Well, people are on here looking for coaching opportunities, aren't they? Wouldn't look too good in front of an AD if you can't talk or write! Maybe you should join him!
Oh! Wah Wah! You make your own bed... you lay in it.

Rumor was if they hired a distance-oriented coach (which it looks like they did) he would go coach distance at Oakland.

That's too bad for a good program in Oakland.

Why do you hate Kaczor? He's not a bad guy by any means and it's not like people haven't done well under him. Yeah they have had teams not meet their potential, but all the blame isn't on him.
I'm interested in seeing how Jenny does at central. They have alot of talent and can do well so I'm interested in seeing how these next couple years go for them.
So CMU has a bad coach and now they hired a god awful coach? Looks like CMU may be considering cutting its men's program after looking at Ms. Sweiton's ex-program history.

He is a great guy, he can't coach. They do not have a lot of talent. He has had 1 of his own athletes do good and couldn't even keep that kid in school.
No One in Texas cares about UTRGV. Whats up with the Texas Sprints job?
When will we see announcements from Auburn, W&M, Harvard and Charlotte?? Kids are starting to get to campus now, time to get a move on.

Not a lot of talent? That's incorrect let's see: 9:07/ 4:16/ 15:10 guy, 9:08/ 4:19/ Mr. Cross Country, 4:13/ 50 / NB All American, 4:21/ 9:14 guy, 9:17/ 15:40 guy, 4:16 guy, 4:15 guy, 4:17 guy, 4:18/ 14:28 (3 mile) guy
Don't have a horse in the race just a coach who doesn't know how CMU is bad...
