A track staff can have more than 6 full time paid positions, but only 6 can recruit.

And only 6 paid that can coach. Others are either volunteers or paid non-coaching/recruiting positions.
Dunn back to Kentucky?
I think they are there for the distance coaches wedding.

Any news about UC Santa Cruz? Was supposed to have a phone interview last week and they cancelled last minute but was supposed to be rescheduled for this week but have not heard back from them. Pay seems terrible and the situation pretty screwed up with how they let the former coach go. Maybe its better I don't hear back....
It's a cluster right now. They haven't had an AD for almost a year, not even an interim. Now the rec/PE director that was acting the most like an AD, though with no real experience in athletics, is suddenly out for an extended period. It's unclear who's running the show. The only athletic administrator on their website was their assistant soccer coach last fall.
Shockingly big name now coaching sprints at Hendrix College.
Kissane coached a few to top 35 times??? Who keeps track of top 35 all-time? haha

Raske???
Iowa central needs a throws coach Foote to Texas rio grande
Fsu hires miamis jumo coach
How is it possible for someone with NO coaching experience (and NEVER and was a collegiate athlete) get a mid-distance/distance full-time coaching job in the SEC. Who Left??????
Working under Raske. Not posted yet.
Was this job posted? It's already hard enough out for us who have been coaching distance for years and have all Americans and they give away a big time position like that. But hey maybe he's the next Van hoy!
My phone screen was cancelled as well.
Inside sources tell me the Dean who fired Jamey Harris and all the other coaches is on the brink of being fired herself for causing this whole embarrassing fiasco. Students, parents, everyone are incredibly pissed off. They keep protesting and it won't die down.
Rumor is that the powers-that-be are cancelling all the interviews and are planning to offer Harris his old job back (if he still wants it, that is). So I'm not holding my breath waiting to be rescheduled. That place sounds completely FUBAR anyway.

The distance coach at Kentucky? The one marrying his former athlete?
The job was not posted, abysmal hire, he will be a glorified stopwatch holder at best. How you can justify hiring somebody with no experience at that level is crazy. Looks like the male sprints coach left. Typical lack of ambition/common sense from a shoddily run program, having two/three distance coaches, and two throws coaches on an SEC team doesn't add up.
As expected, Graham officially to American. Hopefully we'll see some more announcements before the weekend

"With the help of a great staff already on board..." Looks like everyone already there will stay.
