I don't think this is Chapel Hill's distance opening. I believe this is the opening at NC A&T since they are a part of the UNC system. The postings match up.
No bro I know what chapel hill is.
https://unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/124860Thats the old post for Steve Rubins job, bro. Roberts isn't leaving

And I as said, it's the same description verbatim as the NCAT post because *ahem* they are a part of the UNC system!
https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/assistant-coach-track-and-field-ncaa-jobs-SRCH_KO0,36.htm?jl=2494978532When Fayetteville State was seeking a head coach, posts popped up under the same moniker because they too are a part of the UNC system.
Dude unless you know the staff, which you clearly don't, leave it to those of us who do.
I heard Waite was on campus in Tempe. Makes sense that he's the hire.
Chadron State coach to Colorado Mesa.
How did this opening slip through the cracks?? Been posted two weeks!!
You are correct. That posting, though a general, non specific one as far as event group assignment is to replace Rubin.

Of course some idiot is gonna act like me posting. I don't care if he knows the staff or not just get your job post correct before you post it here.
Bruh, this isn't your username. It's mine, ya dig?
Link doesn't work? Where did Coe HC go?
There ya go. Lake Forest College
So that would make Delaware open now. How many distance coaching changes is that in the CAA this summer?

6. Towson, Northeastern, Delaware, William and Mary had 2, and Elon. Not a conference of longevity it appears.
Well, in the case of coaching, the CAA appears to be "The Land of Opportunity." Coaches have moved on from Elon, Towson, W&M, Northeastern, and Delaware to places like Florida, LSU, and Arizona State. I wouldn't say it's "dying" at all!
The League itself, though, has been dying for years. If JMU and W&M leave, consider it mostly a dead conference. JMU has been flirting with BCS football forever, but can't find a fit (guess ACC doesn't want them). Sad what happened to men's Olympic sports in the CAA and MAC, but that's another topic all together...
ITHACA, N.Y. – Mike Henderson, a seasoned coach with more than 15 years of experience, has been named an Assistant Coach for the Men's Cross Country/Track & Field teams at Cornell University. He comes to East Hill after one season at William & Mary, but recently had a four-year stint at Princeton. Henderson will be in charge of guiding the Big Red men's cross country team and the track & field team in the middle-distance and long-distance events.
"We are all very excited about the addition of Mike Henderson to our coaching staff," said Adrian Durant, The George Heekin '29 Head Coach of Men's Track and Field and Cross Country. "Mike comes to Cornell with a wealth of experience and will certainly be able to hit the ground running. His passion for coaching, his event expertise and strong work ethic are reflected in his body of work. I am certain that Mike will not only continue the success of Cornell men's distance group but also elevate it to new heights."
During his time at W&M, Henderson was the assistant cross country coach for both the men's and the women's teams, sweeping the CAA Championships for the fifth year in a row in 2016. Under his guidance, Regan Rome went on to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual, and was named both the Athlete and Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the conference. On the track, Henderson's event groups once again shined, qualifying four athletes for the NCAA Eastern Prelims, and winning six of the eight conference titles from the 1,500m up to the 10,000m. On the women's side, Rome earned double All-American honors in both the 5,000m and the 10,000m, finishing sixth in the nation in that latter event, while for the men, David Barney advanced to the 1,500m quarterfinals and became the first Tribe man since 1995 to advance a round in the 1,500m.
Henderson came to Williamsburg after four years at Princeton, where he was the Tiger's first-ever Director of Operations. In that role, he helped Princeton with all non-coaching aspects of the program, including coordinating recruiting, team travel, budgeting, and meet management.
Prior to his time at Princeton, Henderson spent six years at St. Catherine University in Minnesota, serving as both the Head Cross Country and Track & Field coach as well as the Sports Information Director for the women's-only institution. During his tenure, Henderson coached the school's first-ever All-American, and established 52 school records across every event area. His athletes won a pair of MIAC conference titles and 31 all-conference awards, and six earned Academic All-America accolades.
Henderson also spent one year at Cornell College (Iowa) as an assistant coach for both the cross country and track teams, helping his charges to three school records and a pair of all-conference honors.
His coaching career began in 2001 with four years as a volunteer assistant at the University of Iowa where he helped with all facets of the Hawkeye program. While Henderson was in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes won the first regional cross country title in school history (2002) and advanced to three NCAA cross country championships.
Since 2015, Henderson has also been the co-director of the Green Mountain Cross Country Camp, helping design week-long programs including training programs for top middle- and high-school level runners.
A team captain at Gustavus Adolphus College, Henderson was a four-time All-MIAC performer and made the conference Academic Honor Roll three times. He graduated magna cum laude in psychology in 2001, and went on to earn his master's degree in sports psychology from Iowa in 2004.
