Correct. Henner is now at USC.
Good choice by USC to pick Pat Henner as their distance coach. IMO, the Trojans will need to be more balanced if they want to win an NCAA championship again. Right now they are top heavy in the sprint and hurdle events.
The USC championship team of the early 2000's had an impressive mix of throwers, jumpers, and top notch middle distance runners, to go along with their heavy hitters in the sprint area. If they keep putting all of their scholarship money in the sprint area, you will not see any championships at USC in the future.
This is truly a lot to keep track of. If you can post a link to someone getting hired, please do!

Another awful environment....Look like Scott Bryd, Director at Shorter, is out or quit. Toxic department at Shorter if 20 coaches/administrators have left in 2 years.
Reading the article it seems like the school is in financial trouble.

Uh, how many distance runners did Florida have to help them win NCAA team titles?

Don't know, but the on the women's side Oregon had four distance athletes score to help them win the NCAA team title.
Side note, the mighty Oregon men's distance squad has fallen off the face of the earth, zero points at NCAAs.
Iowa throws coach....
Your list of openings and hires continues to not list about 10 jobs people keep asking about! It's far from complete. Are you bias?

Then you clearly aren't paying attention as I often assert missing positions. So does Mo know how to find a seat?

Biased. The word is biased.
Instead of complaing, update the d*** list. It's as simple as that.

Mercer making wrote:Mercer: what happened to Bailey? Wims?
Maybe they've already hired Wims and are just advertising the position! Wims actually did better with the distance girls than Bailey did and he only worked with them for 4 months!
Wims did better with the distance girls? As fas as I know it was the GA, Pauric McLaughlin, who was the key to the success of that program last season, during track! It wasn't a lot of success, but it was the best season in mercers program history! The ladies bought into what he was trying achieve with them and I know at least 80% of those girls set PRs and her turned freshman into runners to look out for in the southern conference! Finally, the Southern Conference is a distance oriented conference and to have 3 all conference come from a program that was going nowhere, under Coach Bailey, is pretty impressive from a GA who was thrown into the deep end and to act as a head coach! To me this is pretty profound that an administration team would let this happen but it goes to show the route that mercer is headed down!
Rant over!
Merger my ass is 10000% correct. McLaughlin was the only one down there coaching. It's comical, but very sad also, how little administrations want/care to know.
Expect Mercer to slide further before another coaching carousel in about 2-4 years.

Gavin (?) Kennedy is a terrific recruiter. Just ask the Ole Miss coach who is still reaping the rewards of Kennedy's efforts (during his short stint there).

Ole Miss athletics in a big upheaval, right now, in light of the football program's bombshell yesterday. Also something going on with the women's track program. Best athlete, Raven Saunders (fifth at Olympics) was suspended during the season for unknown reasons. Did not compete at the SEC meet. ???? Things may be in flux, there.
