And why not. That program have not done anything since 2012.
Who is coming in. I did not see the job posting.
Stanford closed the position today. Have they started making calls or was it a quick hire?

Pat Henner
Thought Henner was going to USC? And wouldn't that be kind of weird to have Henner there as the assistant and Milt as the head when it was the other way around at Georgetown?

Ryan Van Hoy
Guess they'll be looking for a sprint oriented coach as well

Who?
assistants at hawaii make 27-41k.... impossible
Correct. Henner is now at USC.
So Hawaii needs a sprints/jumps coach and a throws coach, not to mention fill the volunteer vaults position. Going to be tough so late in the summer.
i think many would like the chance but the pay is so little. Yes you get to live on the beach but 2,000 for 600sqft?maybe a good fit for a single young coach but it is not a feasible longterm place.
Not sure we are on the same page.
I am inquiring information on The University of Maryland Eastern Shore. New hire under cover of the night?
Why was the old coach let go?
Yeah, I recently read that Hawaii is the 2nd most taxed state in the US too, probably not much of the paycheck coming back
Hawaii goes from worse to disaster. What a frigin joke. The AD must be hurting for money. Basically hired glorified high school coach.a least the conference won't have to worry about who's going to get last.
Hawaii has got that covered.
Can we please get some insight into candidates about these distance jobs???? They're big jobs that are losing time recruiting by dragging this out

That's not very nice. Is he really that bad? I will say he only has UP to go... 18 scholarships for a D1 women's team in a beautiful training location, and - track or no track - Hawai'i is last in their mid major conference every year? Noooooo. How can that be? 18 D1 SCHOLARSHIPS.

Probably will be dragged out until August.
