Joe Lynn to CMU as Head Coach. Coming back to Michigan and finally leading a program of his own. Great hire

Did they ever release why he resigned from Missouri mid-season back in 2014?
Is this legit?

How about Lake Erie and Lake Superior State University HC positions? Any word?

Looks like Lake Erie posted again on the NCAA website.I know that the position at Lake Erie is/was offering a salary at upper 20's to low 30's. This coming from someone on the search committee. I was also told it was non-negotiable - so perhaps they are finding it difficult to find someone to take on that task for such low pay.
Why are so many of these big jobs still open this late with no rumored candidates? Are these coaches actually taking this long to find suitable candidates?
Lake Erie is in financial trouble as is Lake Superior State. The AD at Lake Erie left as well to take a position at a local HS. LSU almost cut XC a few years ago. Good positions for someone young and wanting to get head coaching experience for s few years at a smaller school.
Thanks for the feedback/info. I appreciate it.
You're right that for a young coach wanting experience and then move on, Lake Erie might be a good start.
From the school's standpoint, it might be beneficial to hire a retired teacher or retired military who can afford the low salary who will stay for the long run.
