As long as he's cool not actually coaching in this postition at Stanford...same goes for Bonsey...don't see it.
I see it. Why _wouldn't_ Jamey Harris want to be at Stanford, even as an assistant? It's a way into D1 from a severely underfunded D3 program, and hopefully he could learn a thing or two from Miltenberg. Plus he already lives nearby.
Is it official that Wyo throws coach is retiring? He is still on their website as of this morning. Is there a job posting?

I'm not saying he wouldn't or shouldn't...but going from calling the shots to carrying Miltenberg's stopwatch isn't for everyone...even if it would be a much faster track into DI/P5 then the last job (and probably pays more...though not significantly more). And head coaches often don't want someone carrying their stopwatch who was used to calling the shots...for reasonable, justifiable reasons. This often isn't a dynamic that works unless there is a pre-existing relationship of trust there. Again, not saying these guys wouldn't or shouldn't...but I still don't see it - from both sides.
With the Air Force job opening up I'm guessing Ryan Cole is coming back to Tempe. Can't think of any other place he'd be going right now

That job is Kraft's until he retires in the next few years. But yes, going with Rasmussen is a statement about his prioritization level of the distances.
The program does not to be "turned around." It is easy to utter that statement sitting in your moms basement without a clue of where scholarships are spent. Auburn only cares about sprints, until that changes, they will never be able to compete (team-wise) with other schools in cross country - regardless of who is the coach.

Look at one of the small school director openings that's been mentioned before & remember where Cole is from.... The way things came to a conclusion at ASU, I don't see him returning...
Any announcements coming today or tomorrow? Any leads?

It's been speculated that he will be taking the head job at Colorado Mesa.
No, the position is Ryan Cole's assistant.

Anyone else surprised Harvard is still open? Even with what went on, thought they would have made a quality hire by now. Have heard several people turned the posistion down, so candidates must not like what they see once they get on campus.
I am not surprised at all. It takes time to make a hire. This assistant position may be hired by the HC, and not a big multi-disciplinary committee, but in this particular case, the person will be well screened to avoid any chance of negative press.
Any idea on who the female they offered the job to is?

I'm surprised at how long all these hires are taking. There are obviously quality candidates who want jobs out there but every school is hoping for the "big name"

If my read skills are accurate it appears Kentucky manger position is for a manager (this no coaching; not a countable coach)
