Understandable and forgiven :-)
There are plenty of contemporary and near-contemporary non-Biblical historians historians that wrote about Jesus the man. Tacitus and Josephus come to mind; I am sure Google would reveal plenty others.
As to non-Biblical evidence that Jesus was a miracle worker, etc, I agree: good luck. The best you may do would be to find non-Biblical evidence that Jesus' contemporaries BELIEVED he preformed miracles, but that would hardly be evidence that Jesus was divine. I guess that is where people's "faith" comes in, but I will stay away from that one.
