I have a 20 year old (built in 1999) nordic track it runs like crap. I had to take all the panelling off it cause it clangs around, makes too much noise. The incline adjuster doesn't work, and if you hit the buttons it shuts off. It also shuts off every 35 minutes. If you run too fast, it gets all messed up.
Pretty good for winter training I guess
I still got a Weslo Cadence 920 that my family bought in ~1998, but the frame is shot. It's probably got 20k miles on it if not more. At one more point when I had 2 running friends living with me, that sucker would get used 3-6 hours a day during the winter. We'd fight who got on it first to get a workout done...
When I was going to college, I was amazed that they had 6 of those Weslo Cadence 920 units in the fitness center.
Would love to fix it up, but since I got my new treadmill, I'm probably going to send it to the dump. Don't really need two treadmills, but does have some sentimental piece.

Does this one look like a viable option for someone looking to put in a good 80-100mpw? It looks pretty durable to me and a good price, too. Speed also goes up a decent amount, doesn't cap out at 10mph like a lot of other treadmills.

i would suck someone off for a woodway
I started thinking about how to find someone selling a previously owned Woodway and came across this site that refurbishes them. They seem very good and I would think one redone and with a new belt would almost as good as new at a steep discount.

I have a fitness equipment factory, I also have a professional development team. Every year I develop a lot of treadmill styles. our MG-C7010 series is very good quality, but I sell it very cheaply. If you are interested, you can click to find out.https://www.mangogymequipment.com/gym-equipment/cardio/mg-c7010-commercial-heavy-duty-ac-treadmill-add-led
Dude, it all depends on what price range you have. For example, if you have a lot of money, then you can choose the most expensive treadmill with a voice assistant and a touch screen. My wife asked me to buy a treadmill two years ago and I began to search for various models on the Internet. After some time I came across http://www.treadmills101.com/articles/best-home-treadmills-under-1000.html. There were treadmills up to 1000 bucks and that was what I needed. In the end, I bought NordicTrack T 6.5 Si Treadmill and my wife was pleased. So you can search on the site!
The most expensive treadmills become useless as a rule .. I saw on the example of my friends)) It’s easier for me to force myself to go out for a run.
For years I owned a "Landice" treadmill. They are a little hard to find but very reliable. About 3 years ago I bought a LifeFitness treadmill but one with the most basic screen available. These would be my recommendations at the $3,000 - $3,500 price point

I think it's too expensive
I appreciate the NordicTrack T 6.5 S Treadmill, this is a reputable brand, durable engine, you can choose the 6.5 Si version, but it is more expensive, it is the first choice in Besforlives
With a budget of up to $1000, I would recommend NordicTrack T 6.5Si .
You may find this overview useful at https://gymequipmentcenter.com/best-treadmills-under-1000/. If you can spend a lot of money, you can get a treadmill with a modern control system and a wide variety of settings. In this case, the basic functionality will not differ significantly.
The minimum budget I would consider is $300.
