I'd be down for that.

Good idea maybe they should hold it in the spring or fall though. I have a cabin in Western Maine its COLD up there right now.
Mmm, waffle breakfasts... guess Maine doesn't have Waffle House though?

Great, so when is the next one?
Saw this well written article last week on this. Sounds like the marathon is full:
Except for runners on average seem to be some of the cheapest people around. Everyone will want a long sleeve technical shirt, police closing roads, water and Gatorade every 2 miles and a buffet of free food at the end before needing a late checkout if they even stay somewhere vs driving hours that night/ morning to get there. They'd probably make more money with a car wash or bake sale.

For sure runners are the biggest cheapskates around. They just need to do what RnR does and target the fat ladies. Those wimmin are like locusts at the expo buyin' coffee mugs, extra shirts, jackets, gels/gu/shotblocks, hydration belts. They are spending dynamos. And then they'll need to gorge themselves at tan Applebees or Chili's before AND after the race because they 'earned' it. Yep, they'll make some money.

And the first one in Jenkintown PA? How awesome would that be?

If you haven't read this article, please do so as it's great:
Another classically Gary Allen-style crazy-yet-brilliant running idea! It's good to see this getting some attention.
Reminds me of Steamtown. It's great low-key race that the community really gets behind. I wonder how much that brings in for the community. Unfortunately, given that this race is free, I think they'll have a lot of DNS. Wait till the week of and check the weather; If it sucks, cancel your hotel and don't run it.
Had I known about this too -I would have flown from the bunker up to Maine for it (just the half because I'm lazy) and eat and drink my way through their town. And my bail money will help the city's police budget.

I see where you're going there, except: "A professional race production company based in Boston offered to drive up and provide microchip timing for all the runners — at no cost to anyone."
So there would most CERTAINLY be RossiMats on hand
In fact, I'd bet DQ [Danzeisen & Quigley] Events would insist on it and help out as well
No, rojo, I will not go. Just like I will not serve in your military or hire your expensive American workers, especially expensive military veteran American workers. That's not what being pro-Trump is about.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
