Andy tweeted that he was heading back to IN but was very clear. David Monti retweeted and confirmed that Andy was reuniting with Coach Helmer of IU.
Surprising to me as he seemed to have made some great improvements training with BTC.

I just saw that Andy did confirm this on his Instagram earlier.
The end of every year sees major changes as shoe companies start dropping athletes. Olympic years provide a greater number of casualties.
Seems weird. He had a decent year: 3:55 for the mile, a PR in the steeple, and close to a PR in the 3k.

Not sure what that has to do with Andy. He is still with Nike as far as I know. They had no reason to drop him. He ran some fast times and barely missed out on the Olympics in his first post collegiate attempt.
Maybe he just wanted to settle back in his home state. Maybe he wants to focus on running the flat track instead of the steeple.

I can't find the source right now, but I have seen him quoted in the past as saying that the initial reason he went to the steeple after joining BTC was because of the intensity of the training. More or less he was having a hard time keeping up with the guys training for the 1500/5000, but the 3000st training was more manageable, so he did that.
His instagram shows that he is still with Nike, 'thanking' them for sticking by him with this decision. So this isn't a sponsorship change, it is a training change.
Interesting move. I imagined him eventually making a worlds team in the steeple with BTC. Is he going back to the 1500?

Good to see continued progression. I was worried that he might not sustain and/or progress after leaving BTC.

Finally not being beaten down down by Schumacher's pounding all the time
Training with teammates who are on another level of talent can be brutal under the best of circumstances. I think he got what he needed out of BTC, then had the sense to move on. It's not Jerry's fault.

How do we know he didn't leave BTC because of something drug related? Maybe he didn't want to see Dr. Brown anymore.

Give me a break. How do I know you're not on ped's? In fact, how do I know you're not a retard? I'm just going to assume that you're both until I see some documentation to prove my assumption wrong.
LOL I knew this was going to touch some Schumacher fan's nerve

Why would he go back to the 1500 if he just ran a great PR in the steeple in Rome?? Clearly what he's doing has been working, and I think he'll be able to grab a world spot in a couple of weeks. Also idk why he'd go back to the 1500 when at this point he probably knows that he's not a threat for the team in that event at all.

Running the 1500m/mile this season has helped him to a new pr. So, there's that.

The knucklehead was replying to a months-old comment, to there's also that.
