14 miles in
1. H HAWKS 1:31
2. Z MILLER 48S
3. C REED 2M45S
Find it funny number two is running with zero water and number three is running with two 16 oz handhelds.
Sage sixth.

They have so many aid stations you can get away without carrying water.
Zach had TWO fluid bottles in his hand at mile 9.8.
HH is crushing it. There is a big pack with Reed including Sage, T Freriks, Jorge Maravilla, and Benoit Cori.
Zach FREAKING Miller has caught HH just before mile 20.
Canaday breaking away from pack and giving chase.
Maravilla, Reed, and Cori 3:30 back from leaders.
Freriks off the back 6:30 bhind.
Looks like Zach is getting ready to eat lunch!!
so maybe he has been sippin and now hes gonna drop the hammer?
these 50 mile races are twice as predictable as the 100s
Your wife says you're twice as predictable as the guy from her office shes boning...
They're already dropping the hammer.
At 19.6 they are on 5:21 pace which is what Walmsley ran JFK in.

Is there a live tracking somewhere?
Irunfar is at the race posting updates.
Zach and Hayden through 29.4 in 3:11with Zach 3 seconds ahead.
Sage crushing the downhill now only 1:45 back!!
Megan Kimmel in the lead for the women.
miller and hawk treating this like a group run still, probably past the 50k mark now and still won't see a hairy hammer drop until mile 40
Awesome to see three guys within 2 min this far is in. Let's go Hayden!!
Laney dropped a hammer! made it to 4th from maybe 11th. It's only Sage in his way from the stage now. How long can he push?! Who else will push from the back?
Sage dropped back on the 1,400 ft climb. Now 6:30 behind leaders. David Laney has moved to 4th 12:30 back (6:00 back of Sage) and really pushing.
Zach ran the 2.7 mile 1,400 ft climb in 28 minutes or 10:22 pace. Converts to a little over 7 minute pace level.
Looks like next aid station will be 38 miles.
Laney gained 4.5 minutes on Sage on the 2.7 mile climb with 18 miles to go.
