Huh? They've known the start time all week & it will go off exactly as scheduled
Oops I stand corrected. I thought it was supposed to go off an hour earlier (mixed up my time zones).

That's why I'm so impressed with the commentary. These guys are filling a lot of air space with quality stuff. They all did their homework. About 5 minutes to the start! Getting fired up
Much tougher conditions on the course after the girl's race. Noticeable on the very first turn
And they're off! Should be much more competitive than the girls.
Where is DJ and clinger?
4:53 for the first mile for the leaders.
Heath just mentioned deteriorating conditions, not setting up for fast times.
Here comes my dude Seth Hirsch
LOL 4 of New York's individuals were in the top-10 at the 400 meter point. Major detonations to follow...
Hersh moving, Clinger with mud on his face
Woodlands slim lead @ mile, another runner down
Seth looks really good, looks like he is quite a bit taller than he was last year!
Hirsch doesn't have the greatest speed so he needs to keep doing what he's doing and taking the kick out of them
Hang on- there's another 8th grade girl just 18 second back of Ping?

I am interested in her choice too as I have seen her in person at several big races have meet her and her father. She is one of the runners who had a great freshman year, did not do well at NXN in her sophomore year, failed to make NXN last year, and at least finished well this year. I hope she finds a good fit with a college team and coach as there are some potential issues as far as fit.
I think he Hirsch is the best pick right now. He won Griak on a tough course in bad conditions. Similar conditions today so that would be my pick.
Hersh looks 108 soaking wet, I like a lighter runner in these conditions
Principe looks done before halfway.
10:01 at the 2 mile.
