Ignore the trolls. Anyone betting against Celliphine running sub 9 minutes in the steeple and sub 14:40 5000m this year?

Also, you can't deny Africa is full of age cheats, that's an undeniable fact even if you keep your fingers in your ears when it comes to the rampant doping issue among top names.
Seriously? Me, a racist? That is so rich, coming from the resident nostalgic-for-empire Brit.
Didn't call you a racist, just that your accusations are always race based. (you kinda proved my point, but I'll let it slide cause you're funny)
Guessing this is where Renato's pay cheque is coming from, think I hit a nerve.
Celliphine Chespol 8:58.78 WJR and she is just getting started, barring injury or losing her drive and fire to be the best...she is just getting started. The girl is nowhere near her max potential in the steeple, X-Country, 5000m, or 10000m. And a potential world record holder in the all three of the pre-mentioned track events.
Go Cellibacy Cheeseballs!
Any danger she'll drop dead on a training run? PEDs don't seem impossible here.

This.
Go Cellery Chessmaster!

She is truly 17. Her greatest attribute besides a raw talent is she's not afraid of any pace. In her World Jr win in the middle of 3000m steeple she RAN A SUB 2:25 800m (which is 8:15 3000m st pace).
Chespol has off the charts talent; chances are like Ayana, she won't stick with the SC. She just ran 20 seconds faster than the WJr record and has 2 more years at the junior ranks. Chespol has aslo run within 6 seconds of the SC world record while stopping mid-race.
With that said, I highly doubt she is only 17, it's possible she doesn't even know her own age. If she was truly on 17, that would make her Wonder Woman.
Then call her Wonder Woman because she is indeed 17. Funny just like the Kenenisa's thread no one believed me when I said she had the same kind of talent but probably more in respect for a 17 year old female. Now posters are seeing what I knew all along.
The women's steeplechase seems to constantly see improvements nowadays. Young Thug Courtney just bettered her PB to 9:03 when the AR was only 9:07 to start out!!
Now with stringer control she run some 15s slower, don't worry very soon she will be back on full dose and run again under 9 min.
As well as all other Kenyans. I have no fear for "altitude" training at all.

Imagine how cucked and delusional one has to be to believe in this shit.

She does look pretty young and sexy tbh. Only kenyan girl I've ever thought was pretty. I'll be rooting for her in the future even though she went home DEVASTATED the other night.
Faith Kipyegon is the prettiest of all
Mary Cain was phenomenal once, too

Yeah. Kenyans are really loving her. It used to be Mercy Cherono that the Kenyan tabs liked but now Faith is getting lots of love. Expect to see her on Kenyan TV selling everything from margarine to laundry detergent.
https://twitter.com/wgkantai/status/894986378261475330Chespol simply burnt out. Since she ran 9:07(?) in Doha, she has been going for it every race and almost every time running a PR until that 8:58 time she ran in Eugene. For a 17 year old, that is too much. I just hope she is not injured and that she continues to have interest in the steeple chase. On top of running, she is a school girl(high school) and that is too much. Her agents and manager and Coaches should let her take rest for the remainder of the season until next year or at least not let her race until Brussels(if steeples will be run). She has a whole future, for God sake!
She is 26.
Yes. She has major exams coming up at the end of the year, and has missed quite a bit of school running. I think this is it for the season.
Celliphine just won the African X-Country Championships by blasting the 3-4th lap opening a 17 second lead and holding on to a 3 second victory. She is still only 18 years old.
