Thought Georgetown didn't have a track.

That track is in the neighborhood near the campus and is public. I've done work outs on it before. Its also short. 5 laps = 1600.

I don't think that track is actually on campus but it is definitely not a 400 meter track - more likely 5 laps per mile (which would explain why they were alternating directions)
Honestly, Georgetown Runners have really surprised me this year. I can't believe that Oats & Hoes (A start-up digital content firm owned by Gtown runner SherryStaxxx) was able to acquire The Mocha Millennial! Pretty impressive for a couple of kids at a school like Georgetown.
Watched a few episodes, not bad! I'd like to see some footage of the girl's team though
I believe Georgetown (or some boosters) paid for the track, which is on public land. It's 320 meters, but the curves are standard. It's just the straights that are short.
It is a neighborhood track. I was watching one workout once with the distance runners one way, the sprinters going another way, and about an hour into the workout, a bunch of neighborhood girls took to the track. Only six lanes as can be seen on the video.

Not my experience.
Why does this kid call everyone "hommies"?

Thanks.
I would like to continue the discussion about a potential new track at some point. It would be nice to see an official Georgetown track in future as the team has performed well in recent years. As an alumni it certainly takes me back seeing some of the footage on campus. I never ran at the collegiate level but I did enjoy running along the canal during my time as a student. Does the team frequent the tow paths? Or is that mostly where your run of the mill "hobby jogger" can find himself?
Not a bad recruitment tool, would definitely give a high schooler some perspective on competing in college. I'd like to see how the day in life of other college runners compare. Int in what other coaches think.
I live right across key bridge and run on the towpath and rock creek a lot. See a lot of gtown guys on the towpath, that's for sure. I'm guessing it's their tempo spot. Swear I see the same kid on there every time I'm down there too.
The track was just resurfaced.
episode 11 has no audio dude
This kid just ran a 4:16 "blue jeans mile" down in NY. Not bad for July.
61 sec last lap. Previous record had been unofficially 4:32. Rumor that somebody had a 4:20.
