I'm fortunate enough to have ~ 30-45 mins of light after work. I drive straight to a park and run there until its too dark to see on the trails, then outside of the park on the roads in the dark. Its not well lit, but I can see enough to keep going, albeit slower than I would in the light. For me, the plastic pieces on headlamps are annoying. Then the straps slide up and down on my head and the light bobs around. I'd sooner carry a flashlight than use a headlamp. It would only be worth it to me out in the country where there is no light. Weekends are so much more meaningful than they were in college, I can run in the light! The sad thing is that in first world countries in Europe, the work day isn't 8 hours long and almost anyone who wants it, gets some hours off work in the light!
