Haha, that indoor 800m is a classic, kid probably thought to himself "how friggin easy is this" and just kept on cheating.
By the way, Terry Varicelly is on to this thread, he's deleting stuff where he can, YouTube, etc.
Who was the kid who got paid to stand in for him.
John Lovitts
I'm sorry guys..
I knew what I did was wrong, and I am a total f**cking idiot. I know no one will forgive me but I just wanted to say that I am sorry from the deepest part of my heart and that I cheated because I'm lazy. I can't run. I'm so bad at life that I steal, or cliffbar. Please forgive as it says in the holy texts. We are all together. We are one. I love u all. And I will come to steal your times... ;)

Was able to find his shamrock run results based on his bib #, what a joke
Apparently he's been around for a while. Found a thread from 2007 about Rutherford Stephens(on) where he seemed sketchy getting himself somehow entered into elite fields of races. He ran the 2009 spirit of Columbus half marathon as an Elite in 1:35:59 when the next slowest was 1:13
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=2011702the kid deserves another chance, just a handful of runners know about it, Rojo/Wejo should take the thread down, we know what happened, everyone makes mistakes, theres no need to insult him or anything. Plenty of kids i know cheat on tests and brag about their grades and people over exaggerate. he's just a kid, this isnt mike rossi.

You're right, you are "a total f**cking idiot", you can't even spell your own name.
Dude looks like Centro's little brother.

No, let's not abandon basic ethics or personal responsibility like this.

Yeah ethics like being kind, try it... most people aren't just bad people. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt

This is the easiest thing in the world to discredit. Doesn't even take effort. 14min my ass. Guess he won the race, then went back and ran it again!

Yeah, just let the kid carry on, he's not hurting anyone. Of course, things might change for him when he gets out in to the real world and finds out it's not so easy and there are repercussions, but then dickheads like you will just say the same thing.

He wasn't kicked off the team. He graduated five years ago.
And this my friend is how we know you're a troll. I know Terry personally. He didn't graduate yet.
This kid knew what he was doing and what he was getting into. He should've stopped when he first got caught at Manhattan Invitational but of course, because he got away with it, he didn't learn his lesson. Milesplit removed the first article on the first incident for some reason and I believe he deserves it now. This is not a game and he should know this and respect the sport of Cross Country. So don't give us bs about how he is just a kid and other stuff because 99% of high schoolers are kids and I haven't seen such disgraceful behavior except for this guy.

Only one comment under the video of him cheating in the 800.
It looks like the kind of comment one might leave in a desperate attempt to get the whole video deleted.
Interesting.

We know, it's all been covered before on another LR forum thread, please go there if you want to kick it along further.
I am not sorry. I am extremely awesome, and the rules should not apply to me. I should not have to compete for race results, fame, and women - these things should be handed to me based on status alone. The world is run by people who break the rules, so why should I obey them? I was hand-picked from birth to be superior to others, but since you all won't just accept that, I am forced to use stupid metrics such as "race results" to convince you of this fact.
