If you want to do cheating "right" than you need to have a history to back up your claims. If he has solid XC races than later in life we'll all say hmm he's pretty good.

That's the problem. He won't be. He can't even run a legit 2:05. This is the evidence for me to believe he can't even run a 4:30 and that's what he did indoor for that time. He's really not a good runner.
This is why he got kicked off the memorial team, and he has been running under the union city team name 2016 outdoor, but he was kicked off their team too.

Correction: 2:05

This is the kind of evidence Barb McKeever was looking for!
By the way, where the heck is that track with all the mobile homes around it?
It's a typical high school track. Those aren't mobile homes, they're classrooms. When student populations outgrow their buildings, districts will add these trailers as a cheaper alternative to remodeling a building. When you see these on a campus, it's a sure sign the school is overcrowded.
I bet most of us have known some whacko like this. I knew a post-collegiate guy who was decent in the 800m - 1:55 or 1:56 on a good day, but often blew up to 2:10 on a bad day. He gathered a ton of facebook/twitter followers by talking about how he was close to making the Olympics, and people would cheer him on. He would enter college meets unattached with times like 1:46, and either DNS or run slow and then claim injury to his followers. He kept this up the entire 2009-2012 cycle for London, took some time off, then in early 2015 he was back at it, talking about making his "comeback" to try and qualify for Rio. I don't know if he ever cheated in a race like this, but there are all kinds of delusional.
There could be a book/psychological case study on this stuff, looking at the various "methods" of fakery/delusional thinking. It isn't just running that has its delusional weirdos, though: I knew some D3 second-string football players who were sure that their team being D3 was all that was preventing them from getting the exposure to NFL scouts they obviously deserved, and they would say so online and in person, and some people bought into it. They somehow never chose to transfer to D1, I wonder why...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BMQ-0ImCuV0This is hilarious but seriously he should be banned from the sport. No way he doesn't try it again. Also someone needs to have him read this thread or read it to him because he seriously has to have something wrong with him. Terry do you think you can break 2:06 lol hey terry a middle schooler is 10+ seconds faster than your dream time and many more are faster than your 19 minute 5k.
Many of us have done some truly embarrassing things in our day, but putting it out there for the world to see just how big a lump of excrement you are/were for all eternity is a terrible idea. I can only do my part and shame him into removing the dumb videos for starters.
Terry, the videos aren't gonna make you faster, fill your competitors with fear, and definitely won't result in you getting laid. You gave it all away before you even started that session. It pained me to see your lack of motor coordination with that prepubescent undertoned body. You won't believe me until you watch that video again 10 years from now but I beg you to just trust me on this one, take it down buddy. PS - I'm not a hater, just trying to help a brother in need
Thanks for bringing up NCAA. Turns out he can't run for NCAA. Now, I'm not too sure why, but I can speculate that one of his former coaches alerted the NCAA about his doings and thus they put a stop to it. Either that or the USATF uniform debauchery.

That's what I'm saying he's faking his results now for the future maybe? If we didn't catch him now.
Anyways kid's a dbag of the highest order.
I have an overwhelming urge to see his legs sticking up out of a garbage can.
also know a kid like this, claims to run a 50.1 for the 400 at his old school, nothing crazy, but dang fast for a junior (so he would have been a sophomore), so my friend and i looked him up and couldnt find anything on him and he doesnt run now but he says "hes thinking about doing track" well do it and show me the 50 second 400.
I just looked up the results of that Armory race and apparently they didn't catch him. Got him listed in 3rd at 2:05.13. smh...
Why did his parents let him transfer schools because running? All bs aside he isn't fast enough to make it a priority. Bad parenting, stupid kid.
I know this kid, and I can attest that he is a complete fraud. We both worked at a high school cross country camp this past summer, and in order to get a job as a counsellor you must be at least a freshman in college. Regardless of how old he is, he lied about that in order to get the job, because he is in high school.
He lied about his times there too, he told us he had run sub 2:00 in the 800. Clearly there is no record of him ever running that.
It is obvious to me that Terry is a pathological liar, and I would not be surprised if he has some sort of mental disorder. Through my experience with Terry he always maintained the "tough guy" stance, but would never follow through with anything he said. Hopefully he is banned from entering any races, and kicked off of his team.

You seem to be struggling with the correct usage of than and then.
This makes me mad at the kid and the meet. How did this happen? Ban this kid for life though
