Just 38 beers in the next 3 hours, plus a few miles, and I'll have the record!
Okay, yeah, the WR is quite out of reach; sub-100 is all that exists now. Gotta finish by tomorrow at 9:05pm. It's so easy to go run a few miles and so hard to have more than one beer. Je continue.
I need, at this point, to acknowledge Fast Guy. First of all his time really is amazing; I can appreciate it so much more now that I've fallen so short. And then to come on here and encourage me and defend me and try to coach me--I can't decide if that speaks to his character, or if the nature of the challenge makes those who go for it brothers-in-arms. Maybe a combination: those who try something so ridiculous are more likely to be helpers, encouragers, good people.
Je continue.

TheJeff is a former alcoholic, so this thread is particularly appealing to him.
Back when I thought this challenge would be a fun thing to try in college I thought part of my strategy would be to sleep for a few hours, wake up for a few minutes to chug a couple of beers then go back to bed for a couple more hours. Have you tried that strategy Luke?
Dry for 8+ years.
I forgive you both.
Much like the Bakleys Marathon "fun run", I need a more achievable goal. 24 miles and 24 beers? 50 and 50?
BREAKING NEWS!!!!!
Luke passed away early this morning due to alcohol poisoning.
I'll see if I can spot you on the waterfront in a couple hours. I guess I'll be on the lookout for the only drunk guy I see in short shorts.

You don't stop being an alcoholic, just an alcoholic or doesn't drink anymore. The brain damage and flawed personality never go away.

I like old washed up drunk dudes
I feel like the triple century would make you never want to drink (or run) again before it made you an alcoholic.
