Fisher is a US citizen. He has lived in the US since he was 3. His mother is American and his father is Canadian.
He has competed for the USA at two world championships.
He could run for the US or Canada in the future.

Does he get to vote in both US and Canadian elections?

I don't think Fisher or Knight will be able to break Mo Ahmed's Canadian record of 13:01.74
It will be especially tough for Fisher as he'd have to get Canadian citizenship in addition to running the time.
The king hands down assuming he doesn't still have a bum hamstring like he did for NCAA's he could smoke all those runners you listed now Rupp vs the King assuming both were healthy would be a hell of a race from 5 k to 10 to Cross would love to see those 2 race.
Fisher (12:58)
Tiernan (13:02)
Knight (13:05)
McGorty (13:09)
Ches (13:18)
I think the thing that you guys are missing is that everyone wrote off Tiernan before NCAAs, and he came out and proved them wrong. He's the only one of those guys with guts to really string out a field and go for it. Picks on him.
My my. I remember reading these old threads and predicting sub 13.
Fisher has been my favorite runner since he was a junior in high school beating everyone at footlocker.
After watching the first heat, I knew he would get the AR and beat Ahmed. Didn't think I would see 12:53 though.
Impressive
Hasn’t Knight run faster though?

If you look at the picture (Fisher Finish) you can clearly see that Fisher has his hands down. I don't see what Knight having a faster PB has anything to do with this.
