Yes, w inlaws, but only have a 10k race. But in the spirit of your post, will be staying for awards... which, as we all know, could take HOURS ;-)

first: if you're awake at the inlaws at 3:47 I assume you're stuck sleeping on a fold out sofa as I will be in 24 hrs. You have my sympathy.
second: anyone worth anything always sets a running schedule to facilitate a long run occuring on a holiday weekend. I usually try and get 16-20 miles in on one day there at least.
Racing at 10, going to beer tent soon after and not emerging until 2. Then I'll show up and hope to get out of dodge within an hour after eating.
