I thought it was a good article. The Brojos and their staff no doubt love our sport as do most of us.
Loved it! Glad to see mainstream media give the site the PR it deserves.
I've been here daily since 2003 and while the political BS can get old, i'm always glad it's here. There is a comfort in seeing that craiglist style message board knowing i can post under any name and converse with people who have no idea who i am and vice versa. But, we all have something in common.

This entire section of the article made absolutely zero sense and I have no idea why it was included. If you are going to bash LetsRun for their reporting then look in the mirror first, bud. 0/10 for Outside on this one.

I thought it was a good article and offered some insights in the brojos and LR. The above was cut and pasted from the article and is not the full paragraph about Wejo. Nothing wrong with it.
Wow, rojo is fat.
I have to admit the first time I saw this thread, I thought the article on a post was an advertisement so I didn't click on it. It wasn't until later that I realized it wasn't....w/that said, yeah I found it kind of comical and spot on except I don't think Wejo looks like William Defoe. Bit of an insult in my opinion...🤓
If the article does not include the line, "Who is Jon Gault" then I have lost all respect for the writer.
I was shocked by how apt the writer was when he characterized RoJo as a "Texan Hugh Grant."

Read the article folks. It's good. Far better than the commentary about it, so far, on this message board. Gave me a much better understanding of how letsrun functions. Much more casual, off the cuff, than I had imagined. But confirms the reason I keep coming back - despite being depressed by the 2016 election discussions. I love the role letsrun plays in going after the cheaters in our sport and covering stories like the Ethiopian Olympic silver medalist and his protest. And even Olympic Trials hammer throwers. If I were a few decades younger - and big and agile instead of a skinny distance guy - I'd love try that event event. :)
Yes. It's a fantastic story. It lets the personalities emerge (and I learned much that I didn't know). It lets the narrative meander. The photos are kick-ass. The author doesn't work too hard to loft himself above his subjects, although--ouch--he does make a thing of Rojo's (bad) spelling.
The LR staff deserves to get shot-faced tonight. This isn't just good press. This is great press.
Once in a blue moon, nice guys finish first.
This article is awesome, and made me feel proud for you guys. Hope you have a great 2017.
Cheers,
Someone who's been around in one way or another since 2001 and keeps coming back.
Great read, although Outside should've sprinkled a few misspellings throughout the article to make it more authentic.
Seriously though, they did a good job capturing some of what makes lrc a special place.
Happy new year, brojos.
this is such a great pic.

Well they got this right:
Frankly, 42-year-old identical twins Robert and Weldon Johnson can’t write that well.
Being honest though... This was a wanna-be website plugged tirelessly on tnfmedia message boards until that site shut down. That shutdown is what made letsrun.

To be honest--and speaking as a professor of English--I've never had a problem with the ways the brojos write. I don't expect proofread perfection. I expect energy, (reasonable) accuracy, honesty, initiative, fearlessness, and a sense of newsworthiness. You get all those things here. I'm glad that Outside noticed. Serious congratulations are in order.

There was a couple of typing errors in there, it should have read as RoJo being a "Texan huge grunt" or was that "Texan huge çunt", can't remember now, but you get the drift.
huge gunt
