".....profile info profile info profile info, I am also an avid/competitive runner. continue your profile information....."leave it at that. one sentence is all you needUnless you are an olymipic trials runner or a professional that structures their entire life about trainng and recovering from training, you shouldn't go out of your way to talk about it. I've seen spouses convert to running because they like being together to run who were previously non-runners. Try to find someone you are compatible with first. Chances are, you'll be their husband/wife longer than a hobby jogger. It probably shouldn't be a pre-requisite. If he/she is interested and asks you about it, it will come up in conversation and then you can say how much you run. Eventually, maybe they will ask how fast and you tell them. You are getting to know them, running isn't who you are (i hope)NEVER say what your best times are unless asked, that's lame.enjoy the single life...

Trying to make an online dating profile. I notice that in general, a lot of people will say that they are "very outdoorsy" or "love running/cycling/hiking, etc." but there's a wide range between people who are serious about it and out every day and people who do this once every two weeks. Unfortunately it seems like the latter happens a lot.
I don't want to come across as someone who takes myself too seriously... but I would prefer to date someone who is similarly passionate about something related to fitness. It doesn't have to be running necessarily.
In my profile, how do I come across showing that running is very important to me without looking too one dimensional?
