3: Rodney Dangerfield?
These 2 are relatively new compared to your list, but Daniel Tosh and Jim Gaffigan are absolutely fantastic. Dane Cook and George Carlin are/were great. Carlin could make you laugh hysterically, even if you disagreed with every single stance he had.

My list was not really serious. Gaffigan is a wonderful comic. He really makes me laugh a lot.

Oh, really? Not familiar with 2 and 4, but 1, 3, and 5 aren't half bad choices...
Consider me trolled :-)

Your number 5 is one of the best ever - George Carlin. Your number 3, Henny youngman, many would consider a one-trick pony. Your number 2 - Kathie Griffin might be the worse comedian ever.

Huh? That is YOUR list... I am confused, bruh... Imma go take a nap and come back :-)
Start with Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce, then come back to earth, thanks. If you don't "get" Lenny, well... there you go.
Terrible list. Put Sam Kineson on there while you're at it.

I realize this is a troll-post, since Cook and Griffin aren't top comic material.
Any list without Norm Macdonald cannot be taken seriously.
You guys dont give rosie o'donnel enough credit. Typical sexist mentality though
