What is wrong with these guys. All they have to do is jog (in their case slowly) up Mass Ave. To Hahh-vud Law Skewel and get some law student to work pro bono and take this to court. They've got rights. Its not like they all participated in this alleged micro aggression.
Reminds me of high school when our xc team rated each other with stars depicting how "cool" we were and put them on our xc t-shirts. A couple teachers thought it was how many girls we had sex with and made a big deal of it. We never did figure out what they thought that 1/2 star meant that a couple of us had!
Heard from a member of the women's team that this had nothing to do with the offensive messages and documents; apparently the men's team is pretty banged up with injuries and decided to end the season early rather than prolonging it another week and having kids get hurt worse.
Obviously you're just trying to be provocative, but no, the individual I spoke with was not the subject of controversy in the FloTrack workout of the week video.

That seems to coincide with info I read that most of the team was banged up at he conference meet, which resulted in part with their poor showings. I was wondering if the coach wanted to hold them until IC4As or not.
Setting aside the spreadsheet "scandal," I think it's pretty clear from performance alone that Harvard is long overdue for a coaching change.
Since Saretsky arrived, Harvard men's XC has only finished in the top half of the Ivy League once in 11 years (in 2013 they got 4th when Korolev took the individual title). They finished 6th or worse of 8 teams in 8 out of those 11 years. Does grade inflation apply to athletic performance as well?? Because otherwise that looks like a failing grade to me.
I don't think the team needs to be sitting 6 runners; they need to be sitting 1 coach.
