Seriously, why do they call it a Marefen, since when does a TH sound make a F sound?
Why do people from the UK/Europe call the Marathon, "Marefen"

An accent is a different sound of speech that is still correct. Adding Fs for th and throwing in Rs where there is no R even remotely necessary is something else entirely. -

Yeah i dont think it's all Europe, everyone from Britain calls it a Marafen though.
